 The Burren Hostel is a friendly and relaxing hostel located in the heart of the unique geological region of the Burren, Co. Clare. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a comfortable stay in this stunning corner of Ireland. The Hostel is situated just off the Main Street in the village of Lisdoonvarna, in private gardens which include rose beds, rockeries, an impressive herbaceous border, ornamental trees and lawns. The world renowned Cliffs of Moher, including the imaginative and informative Visitors Centre & Atlantic Ridge Experience are just a few minutes drive away- the route is also pleasant to walk or cycle.

Jamaica Inn Hostel, Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare
|
|
 The Jamaica Inn Hostel is the closest hostel to Shannon Airport (12km/8 miles). It is an ideal first and last stop for visitors to Ireland. For people arriving, there is information on what to do and see in the local area as well as local bus and train timetables.
Sixmilebridge is a good example of a typical Irish country village with a real community feel. Obviously there are loads of hiking walks in the area and marked trails for people to follow though the nearest is about 5km. Theres traditional music on Friday nights in the pubs in the village, occasional concerts and other music (ballad type, country and western) on Saturday and Sunday nights.
