Agriturismo ANTICO CASALE di Monte
Gualandro,Tuoro Sul Trasimeno (PG) Umbria
Introduction:
The Antico Casale (old cottage) of Monte Gualandro dates back to
1700. The building is surrounded by a 100,000 square meter large
park, planted with olive trees, with a magnificent view on Lake
Trasimeno and the Chiana Valley.
The estate is 100 m far from the border between Umbria and Tuscany,
not distant from cities of considerable artistic and religious
importance, among which Cortona (8 km), Perugia (30 km.), Arezzo (35
km.), Assisi (50 km.), Orvieto (70 km.), Siena (60 km.), Florence
(130 km), Rome (200 km.).
The cottage has been completely restored with the utmost respect for
its original features: brickwork or stonework flooring, ceilings
with exposed beams, original frescoes, fireplaces…
The park has a 14 x 7 m large swimming-pool with a magnificent view
on the lake, as well as a sun-terrace and a barbecue. |
