LE TERME
Da oltre cent'anni le terme di Levico sono sinonimo di salute e
benessere: le famose acque
arsenicali - ferruginose, uniche in Italia, contengono, oltre al
ferro e all'arsenico, preziosi oligoelementi, le cui proprietą
benefiche erano note fin dal '600, ma vennero impiegate per fini
terapeutici solo a partire dall'800, quando vennero vendute nelle
farmacie di tutta Europa come vero e proprio medicamento.
Sono indicate per le cure inalatorie e fisioterapiche e per le
patologie legate allo stress, alle vie respiratorie, alla tiroide;
le malattie del sangue e della pelle.
La stagione termale va da aprile a ottobre.
Il Parco delle Terme
Realizzato dal giardiniere berlinese Giorgio Zill.
La "Societą Berlinese", a cui era stata affidata la gestione delle
terme lo inaugura all'inizio del'900 assieme al Grand Hotel Terme,
allo stabilimento di imbottigliamento e allo stabilimento bagni.
Grazie alla posizione, in
prossimitą del lago, il quale funge da moderatore climatico,
prosperano numerose specie locali ed esotiche.
Nel periodo estivo, oltre alle guide naturalistiche sono previsti
incontri musicali e mostre d'arte.
 SPA
For more than one hundred years Levico Spa has been synonym of
health and wellness. Its well-known arsenic - ferruginous waters,
unique in Italy, contain, besides iron and arsenic, precious holigo
- elements which healing properties, known in 1600, have not been
used in therapies since the XIX century, when they were sold in the
chemists' all over Europe.
The Spa are suitable for aerosol treatments and physiotherapy and
for illnesses connected to stress, respiratory tract, thyroid, and
blood and skin diseases.
The thermal season starts in April and ends in October.
The Spa Park
The Park was planned by the Berliner gardener Giorgio Zill.
The "Berliner Society", to which the spa management had been
entrusted, inaugurated it at the beginning of the 1900 with the
Grand Hotel Terme, the bottling establishment and the bath one.
Thanks to its position, close to the lake, which is an excellent
climate "moderator", in the park live many local and exotic animals.
In the summer period, besides the naturalistic excursions with the
guides, there are musical meetings and art exhibitions too.
