GOLF
No problem for golf lovers. Borgoiano has a corporate agreement with
the Castelfalfi golf course, which stretches over a 6,645 metre
area. It is an 18-hole Par 73 course with greens and practice
bunkers. The golf course is located close by, only 5 km. away.
The golf course, designed by Pier Luigi Mancinelli, occupies a
surface area of 66
hectares on the estate that goes by the same name.
Not with standing the sometimes-substantial differences in ground
levels and undulations, on this course the strokes are mostly headed
downhill, rarely on flat ground or gentle rises. In any case, the
rises do not cause havoc to approach shots.
The bunkers present on the course are not very numerous and have
been included with the intent to give players different options on
their approach strokes. The greens are well protected by bunkers;
they are very technical in their playability, but nevertheless do
not have a high level of difficulty. |
