tutte elegantemente arredate con mobili creati appositamente per il
Castello. Per il miglior comfort dell'Ospite, i bagni dispongono di
kit cortesia completi, e set di morbida spugna di cotone.
Dalle finestre del Castello, in ogni direzione, si gode di una

Come Arrivare:
- Da Nord: uscire dall’autostrada A1 al casello Firenze - Certosa,
percorrere la superstrada per Siena. Proseguire in direzione Arezzo
e uscire allo svincolo per Asciano-Taverne d’Arbia, proseguire per
circa 6 km, quindi voltare a sinistra al bivio per Leonina.
- Da Sud: uscire dall’autostrada A1 al casello Valdichiana,
percorrere la superstrada Bettolle - Siena, in direzione Siena, per
circa 34 km, quindi uscire allo svincolo per Asciano-Taverne d’Arbia,
proseguire per circa 6 km, quindi voltare a sinistra al bivio per
Leonina.
Castello Leonina Relais lies in the midst of the famous “crete”, one
of the most striking landscapes in Tuscany. A 13th century fortress,
once the home of the Chigi family it was used as a summer residence
by Cardinal Fabio Chigi who later became Pope Alexander VII.
Situated between Siena and Asciano, thanks to careful restoration
lasting a number of years, in 2003 Castello Leonina was returned to
its previous splendour. Since then it has offered its guests the
opportunity to enjoy peace and tranquillity in an historic setting
of great beauty.
The Hotel, the restaurant “Le Terrazze”, the Meeting Centre and the
Wellness Centre, all in one facility far from the noise and
pollution of the city, the ideal place to relax and enjoy your stay
be it for work or for pleasure.
The rooms
The hotel is elegant yet warm and friendly: only 21 rooms, furnished
tastefully, each with fantastic views of the rolling hills and the
famous “crete” in the Siennese countryside.
In spite of its ancient origins and atmosphere of times gone by, the
castle of Leonina is exceptionally comfortable and the staff are
well equipped to deal with the variety of requests and needs of its
clients. The hotel’s principal philosophy is that of making clients
feel perfectly “at home”.
The restaurant
The hotel’s restaurant “Il Balcone di Leonina” is renowned for its
high quality cuisine prepared following ancient traditional Tuscan
recipes.
Exquisite meals that preserve the gastronomic legacy of Tuscany, all,
as one would expect, accompanied by the finest wines of the region.
The meeting room
The meeting room is suitable for conventions of between 10 and 100
participants. Tables can be arranged in horseshoe shape (30 pax) or
in classic theatre style (100 pax).
The hotel can accommodate business lunches (90 pax) and seminars and
meetings of one or more days.
The outdoor swimming pool
All hotel guests may use the swimming pool; dive in beneath azure
skies and relax and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding
countryside and the famous “crete”, geological formations typical of
this part of the province of Siena.
